New Washago Blog   –
                        Tell us how you feel.

Want to tell the world what you think about Washago? Want to have some input into what goes on in the community? Welcome to the new age of electronic communication. Local resident Dan Herbert has created a Blog for "All Things Washago”. You can visit the new Washago Blog to voice your opinions, express your concerns, and share your ideas and experiences about anything Washago. It is hoped that the new Blog will become a source for information about what the residents of Washago find important.

The site features local news about Washago, and weather forecasts and even a community survey about what the citizens of Washago would like to see happen with regard to local community improvements. You can watch a slide show of pictures that photographers have posted to Picasa from in and around Washago and see videos about Washago from YouTube. “It’s all in the interests of community needs development.” says Herbert.

The local Blogger says “If people are interested in having a say about what goes on in Washago, this is the place to do it. Anyone can become an armchair critic or offer constructive ideas about their experiences in Washago.” The site also includes links to such websites as local Members of Parliament and local service organizations. Herbert says "I don't want to compete with other local community service sites that include political and religious agendas or event calendars and directories etc. I just think it's important for locals to have an outlet to express their feelings from the comfort of their own home or business and to bounce ideas around. There is no advertising on the site. There is no political or commercial focus for the site."
